Work Focus: Primarily in information systems management, ERP systems integration, inventory control software application development, and shop-floor time tracking software application development. I also spend considerable time on building automation system design, distributed messaging systems architecture, marine sensor network and IoT infrastructure, and ETL system design.
Daily Work Activities: The majority of my time consists of writing code and associated tests for software development. In addition to writing code, I design applications and the associated APIs, as well as preparing formal documentation of these applications.
Primary Project at the Current Time: The ASCEND Intelligence Platform.
Three Projects that Demonstrate My Skill Set: (1) the Plan Finder Metadata Registry, which is an IT systems documentation and metadata exploration platform for Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, (2) the Jim Casey Youth Opportunity Passport Participant Survey (OPPS) system for the Annie E. Casey foundation, and (3) the Technical Progress Report Submission System, an electronic data submission portal for The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Bureau of International Labor Affairs Child Labor Beneficiary grantees to submit quarterly reporting packages to DOL and receive feedback on these reports from their DOL contract officer.
